Our pets become cherished members of our families, and saying goodbye to them can be one of the hardest things to do. Deciding if it’s the right time to euthanize your pet can be very difficult—which is why at Tribeca Veterinary Wellness, our friendly and supportive staff can walk you through the euthanasia process and help you decide if this is the right decision for your pet and your family. We want to make this process as easy and painless to you and your family as possible, offering both clinical euthanasia in our facilities and at-home euthanasia services.
Clinical euthanasia refers to the selfless decision to relieve your terminally ill pet of any pain or suffering. Our veterinarians are here to answer any and all questions you may have about the euthanasia process, and to explore any other solutions to your pet’s condition, leaving euthanasia as the very last resort.
We will help you decide the best options for proceeding with the euthanasia process; whether it should be at the hospital or at home, with or without family members or other pets. We are here to help and guide you throughout the process.
At-home pet euthanasia is highly encouraged, as it is a safe and familiar place for your pet, and your pet will feel more comfortable there. The family members and other pets are able to spend as much time as needed prior to the euthanasia procedure. We will be with you and your pet every step of the way and will help you make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for. After you have said goodbye to your pet, we will carefully and gently remove your pet from your home if requested and will talk to you about your wishes for your pet’s remains.
Tribeca Veterinary Wellness has dedicated a section of their facilities to clinical euthanasia services, where you and your family can have a safe and comfortable space to say your goodbyes to your loyal companion. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns regarding the health of your pet, or to enquire about the euthanasia services our office provides.
